The 13th annual Huskies Run serves as our PTA’s primary fall fundraiser. All students and families are invited to raise funds to support this healthy and fun event. This event takes place during the school day and involves the students walking or running for a scheduled period of time in order to earn pledges donated by friends and family. Prizes and snacks are handed out. The funds contribute to curriculum enrichment programs, technology, field trips, and many family fun events for our Keller community.
We have teamed up with The Get Movin’ Fund Hub© to make this event fun and profitable. Our total school goal is $18,000.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
1. Register your child for the Huskies Run
2. Help your child gather five, $10.00 flat donations, or more. All students are encouraged to reach their individual donation goal of $50.00.
3. Use the student fundraising web page to promote online donations using the email & social media widgets located on the right side of your child's secure web page. It's easy!
4. Watch your child’s Pledge Meter blast to the top fast! Most credit/debit cards are accepted from anywhere in the world. Check your child’s web page often to see all donations in “real-time.”
IS THERE ANOTHER WAY TO DONATE?
Yes, however, we prefer online donations through your child’s web page. Donations in the form of cash & checks (in-school donations), should be turned into the school using a pledge sheet sent home with your child. Donations are due Friday, October 15th.
Please make checks payable to Helen Keller PTA. Cash & check donations will be added to the online tally.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We are also looking for volunteers on the day of the Huskies Run. A Sign-Up Genius will be forthcoming soon.

Every student that participates in the Huskies Run will receive a Keller key chain the day of the event.
INDIVIDUAL GOAL
All students are encouraged to reach their individual donation goal of $50.00.
GRADE LEVEL RAFFLES!
How to earn raffle tickets:
Students who register online at https://bit.ly/2021huskyrun
Students who raise $50 earn one raffle ticket.
For each $10 in addition to $50 raised, the student receives additional raffle tickets. For example: A student registering online at https://bit.ly/2021huskyrun and raise $70 will earn four chances to win their grade’s raffle prize!
The top fundraising student will win a combined total of $100 gift card to Toyology Toys. And, they will have the honor of participating in a special event with Mrs. Dryden, if the school meets our school goal (see below for more details).
CLASSROOM TEAM GOAL REWARD
When your child’s entire classroom works as a team the class will receive special incentives!
Every class that raises $1,000 or more will earn a "Pajama Day".
The students in the top fundraising class will receive a pizza party.
The three TEACHERS of the grade that earns the most will receive a gift card for a special lunch in Royal Oak!
SCHOOL GOAL REWARD
When the whole school works together as a team everyone WINS! If we reach our overall school goal of $18,000, Mrs. Dryden will sleep on the Keller Elementary roof! The overall top fundraising student will bring Mrs. Dryden dinner and read her a bedtime story! Date to be announcedTBD.

PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD WEAR THEIR SPIRIT WEAR TO SCHOOL IF YOU HAVE A SHIRT. IF YOU DON'T, PLEASE WEAR ROYAL BLUE OR WHITE IF POSSIBLE. WE WILL BE TAKING PICTURES OF THE KIDS.
Weather permitting, the event will be held outside in the field NW of the school. All visitors will need to sign in at the outside location.
Parents and families are welcome to come cheer on your kids during the Huskies Run!
